Welcome to the official update for our fourth Rotary grant water initiative in Massinga District, Mozambique.
This ongoing presentation offers a living record of progress, stories, data, and gratitude — designed to keep all Rotary participants informed and inspired as implementation continues. It will be updated throughout the project to reflect both completed milestones and those still in motion.
What This Grant Aims to Complete
Rotary Global Grant GG2455819 funds the full implementation of five deep water wells and sanitation projects across five rural communities.
Specifically, the grant supports:
Drilling and completion of 5 new boreholes
Installation of 4 Afridev hand pumps
Installation of 1 elevated solar tower with multi-point distribution
Construction of 5 school sanitation centers, with spaces for menstrual hygiene
Complete Community Training and Committee programs in areas of Sustainability, Pump Operations & Maintenance, Hygiene & Sanitation in all five locations
A full rollout of CLTS (Community-Led Total Sanitation) to eliminate open defecation
Monitoring, evaluation, and accountability systems to ensure long-term sustainability
This grant represents not only clean water, but a new model of sustainability — one where each community takes deep ownership of every aspect of the system.
We are grateful to every Rotary Club and member who made this possible.
With Special Thanks
This grant was made possible through the collaboration of multiple Rotary partners across borders.
We especially honor and thank:

All other contributing clubs and individuals who chose to invest not just in infrastructure, but in dignity, health, and lasting transformation
