Cities and towns nationwide are awash in lethal fentanyl, a synthetic opioid up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine. To better understand the enormity of the problem plaguing this country, consider the following statistics:
• Illicit fentanyl poisonings claim the lives of over 70,000 Americans annually.
• Illicit fentanyl is the number one killer of adults 18-45.
• Children under 14 are dying of fentanyl poisoning faster than any other age group.
• Nearly 377 million lethal doses of fentanyl were seized last year, yet fatal poisonings continue to rise.
• Already in 2024, seizures of illicit fentanyl represent over 94 million deadly doses.
To help reverse this tragic epidemic and spare families from enduring the unfathomable pain of losing a loved one, Ability Tri-Modal, in partnership with the Trucking Cares Foundation, (TCF) is taking action.
Ability Tri-Modal has wrapped two fentanyl awareness trailers: one on the West Coast and one on the East Coast.
