Ability Tri-Modal Transportation Services, Inc., is awarded the Holthouse, Carlin and Van Trigt Corporate Citizen of the Year. This prestigious award was started six years ago by past Chamber Chairman and HCVT partner Blake Christian, to recognize the extraordinary contributions of time, talent and energy that a local company invested into the community with its leadership, serving on non-profit boards and giving financial support to local charities.
Owner Greg Owen and his son Josh Owen serve on numerous boards such as the Rotary Club of Long Beach, the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House and the Fisher House project. Their company, with only 23 employees, has annually given back thousands of dollars to organizations such as Long Beach Ronald McDonald House and the CSULB Student Recreation and Wellness Center for many years.
