On May 17, 2021 hundreds of students gathered at Cal State University Long Beach to enjoy carnival festivities, food and prizes at the Owen’s Condition for Tuition Event. Brody and Piper Owen, children of Joshua Owen (program founder) enthusiastically drew tickets and handed out prizes to the students.
Owen’s Condition for Tuition is a wellness-focused scholarship program founded in fall 2011 by Joshua and Tessa Owen and their family. The Owen’s intent for the program is to encourage Long Beach State students to commit to living a healthy lifestyle and attaining their fitness and wellness goals.
